This years fundraising badminton tournament is on Saturday the 22nd of June, in the Roy Moore Sports Hall, at the Harewood College site.
Registration is from 9:30am and games start at 10:00am. Finishing time including presentations will be approximately 4:30pm.
All club level players and above are welcome to attend. You get a full days worth of badminton and DO NOT get knocked out in early rounds. The finalists are selected on the cumulative number of points scored with sudden death at 21 points.
The entry fee this year is £15.00, as we have to cover extra staffing costs at the venue. All money raised (less direct costs), goes towards the purchase of defibrillators, which are installed at venues where badminton is played. So far we have paid for two defibrillators and they cost around £1,000 each!
