You can either turn up for club night on a pay and play basis, or you can pay by the quarter in advance. Please note that non member guests may only play up to a maximum of six times in a season before having to join Badminton England. As we are an affiliated club, all our members have to be affiliated, or our club’s insurance policies are invalidated.

The cost to pay and play on the night is £6.00, which includes Yonex AS-30* shuttlecocks

The cost to pay the quarterly block fee in advance, works out at a reduced rate of £5.00 per night. The total cost for three months at a time, is payable in advance no later than the night on which the new block period commences. The amount will vary from quarter to quarter depending on how many Wednesday’s there are in the block period; but it is usually around £60.00 (which covers 12 weeks).

Block periods run from the first Wednesday of September through to the last Wednesday in November (inclusive), then in a similar fashion from December to February, March to June and finally from July to August. Please note that ALL league players SHOULD pay the block booking fee for club night, or they will have to pay a higher fee to enter league matches. The only exception is for the summer block period, from July to August, when no league matches are taking place anyway. Note that if you cannot turn up to any club nights, there is NO refund of part of your block fee. If however a player is “out” long term, due to injury, then a part refund will be made; but sessions already played will then be at the non discounted rate, the difference being taken off any refund.
